Opportunities for the Nashville Public and Families

Creativity Moves features public shows and workshops to nurture the creativity in all members of the Nashville community.

Public Shows:

Nashville-based Playing By Air Productions will perform it's nationally touring show on Friday and Saturday, May 25-26, joined by local artists and musicians from the Sideshow Fringe Festival. The shows are open to the public and will include discussions with the performers about creativity, collaboration, and building community.

Playing By Air captivates audiences with a joyful fusion of music, juggling, and circus. The award-winning performers of Playing By Air share their sense of playfulness and breathtaking feats in a production enjoyed equally by adults, families, and children. The company inspires, entertains, and supports many community arts and health initiatives, in particular, the cancer community through its Playing By Air Cares and Catch It Early programs.

Creative Workshops:

Throughout the day on Saturday, May 26, creative professionals will host workshops throughout the Nashville community for adults, children, and families. Nashvillians will have the opportunity to learn new skills, re-kindle their creative passions, and strengthen bonds with new and old friends through hands-on creativity.

Workshops will be available for all ages and levels of experience.

Giving Back:

Every workshop leader who participates in Creativity Moves will donate a second workshop, or the products from the workshop, to a non-profit organization in the community. Your participation in each workshop will help to bring the experience of creativity, joy, and inspiration to individuals, children, and families in need throughout Nashville.
